April 09 Inyokern neighbor of the month

The Neighbor of the Month can be anyone you know. This could be that special person who always has a smile or kind word or is willing to help when you need a hand. This honor will include a photo posted on this page and a caption or short biography.

The Webmaster family is well known in Inyokern. They can be seen here in monochrome and have been known to frequent businesses in Inyokern, Ridgecrest and Kern River Valley. They are well meaning although a little fuzzy around the edges. (Little Junior Webmaster has grown a bit since this picture was taken.)

Mrs Webmaster is a member of the Inyokern School PTO and volunteers there regularly. She also takes care of the rest of the Webmaster clan.

Little Junior Webmaster attends Inyokern Elementary School and takes Aikido lessons, she also enjoys reading and arts and crafts.

Mr Webmaster works on the Inyokern website. He is a big fan of genealogy and has traced the Webmaster name back to the 13th Century.

Records show that a certain Albrecht Weibenmeister was exiled from his small village (an area in present day Bavaria) for spending too much valuable time writing items of questionable value and publishing them in places few would ever think to look. In other words, he was given the boot for having no life whatsoever. The resemblance is uncanny.

When asked what they would do after winning this prestigious award, the Webmaster family said "We're going to Disneyland!" This worked out perfectly because the Webmaster family received a two day stay at Disneyland from the President of the Inyokern Chamber of Commerce. As a condition of accepting this trip Mr. Webmaster agrees to forget his introduction to the Chamber President.
