CENTENNIAL YEAR IMPROVEMENTS
Inyokern landmark the Mayfair Motel is taking on a whole new look.  The motel was recently purchased by Rocky Patel and in addition to the new tile roof he intends to replace the doors and windows and make additional essential repairs.
JORNALES BUILDING PROMENADE
THE MAYFAIR MOTEL
Downtown Inyokern attraction the Jornales Building Promenade is being recovered with new pave stone this Centennial year.

The Jornales Building currently houses Inyo Dreams, ARC Motorsports and Toys and The Barnyard

Duane "Dewey" Stephenson and Mark Rhodes of Stephenson's Home Improvement and Maintenance Service are pictured installing the new walkway surface.  They offer free estimates and have 25 years experience.

Their specialties include custom wall and ceiling treatments, tile, and other repair services.  Their phone number is (760) 793-1102.
MAIN STREET POWER & PHONE MOVING UNDERGROUND
Undoubtedly the most significant change to the downtown Inyokern skyline in decades, the installation of underground vaults and conduit will give Inyokern Boulevard a more modern and attractive look.

The clutter of cables like the ones in this picture and their supporting poles will soon be a thing of the past.  Thank you Southern California Edison and Verizon.
It's the smiles that make Inyokern the Sunshine Capital of America!
