Inyokern Community Birthday Party

There were many stars at Bobby Daniels' Community Birthday party. The first one I will mention is Ed McBride and his fantastic Dragon BBQ, one of a series of functional grilling and smoking works of art. Ed also brought "800 Yards No Problem" which is a very detailed sculpture of a buffalo hunter and mule, and "Crow Hunting Ground." Thanks Ed for all the grillin' at Bobby's Community Party.

Danny Lima hails from Corning CA and brought his Dutch ovens and awesome camp kitchen to the party to for Sunday's mountain man breakfast. This is a chuck wagon without wheels and has a great assortment of porcelain-on-steel cookware. Dan tells me he located this hard to find cookware at The Country Feed Barn right here in Inyokern.

Musical entertainment was provided by Bobby and Lauranna's special guest, the Joe Walla Band. The row of guitars to the right are just five of the forty-five+ guitars that Joe owns. This should give you an idea of the amazing guitar mastery we had the privilege to witness. Band members are Joe Walla on guitar, Rich Calande on bass, George Nowicki on drums and guest player Bobby Spencer on harmonica. Joe was voted All Access Magazine's "Best Rock Guitarist for 2006" and he has had two years to improve. Joe's website is JoeWalla.com and Joe plays all over Southern California.
