Diana Watkins with Cash, the first horse she purchased. Diana and her husband Ed are paid professional wranglers for the Boy Scouts. The name of the ranch comes from Ed's reply when Diana talked of someday owning a ranch, which was "When pigs fly!"
Flying Pigs Ranch recently acquired more pack saddles and packing gear. Ed and Diana are also certified professional packers.
Gracie is a rescue horse that was taken in by the Watkins. She is deaf, blind and pampered.
The Watkins spend much of their summer at camp Taquitz with the scouts. They help the scouts earn their horsemanship and animal husbandry badge. When not busy with their business the Watkins are very active in the community.
Flying Pigs Ranch address is PO Box 1417, Inyokern, CA 93527. The phone number is (760) 399-0423.
It's the smiles that make Inyokern the Sunshine Capital of America!
