The Community Forum Thursday evening February 26th at Inyokern School Cafeteria was a great success.  Local parents and those interested in the future of our school met to share their thoughts about Inyokern School with Sierra Sands Unified School District school board members.

Those in attendance split up into groups where four questions were asked by board members:

1) What is the thing you like  best about your school?

2) Is there something you would like to see your school do that it is not currently doing?

3) What do you like best about SSUSD?

4) Is there something you would like to see the district do that it is not currently doing?

The event was hosted by Inyokern Elementary principal Virginia Cornell.

The district listens and makes decisions based on input gathered at these forums.  Photos of meeting notes and voting results are at the bottom of the page.
Note:  Team members submitted answers to questions.  Each team member was given three total votes for answers to each question. The number in front of the answer is the vote total for that answer.

Nuisance abated from Inyokern property.  The notes below mention the need for abatement of a nuisance from a property next to Inyokern Elementary school.  Actions speak louder than words and there has been a lot of action in Inyokern these past few days.  We have witnessed an awesome display of the power of people and machines.  It's a shame the County had to take on this task but they have done a fine job.  Thank you Jon McQuiston, Craig Peterson, Sierra Sands USD and all of those not mentioned who worked on this project.
