Inyokern Town Hall Open House
The Inyokern Town Hall was full of warmth and good humor on a cold afternoon during our open house on February 23rd. The first photo is of Chamber President Stan Obergfell and very active member Dianna Bakken reviewing one of the many historical volumes compiled by Chamber volunteers.
There was no smokin' but a lot of jokin' as dedicated volunteer Gary Bakken and the rest of us enjoyed refreshments and good company.
Newest Chamber member Kathryn Killinger brought a ray of sunshine to a cloudy afternoon with her wonderful smile. It's the smiles that make Inyokern the Sunshine Capital of America!
Chamber member Vicki Carle is the owner of the Barnyard and donated door prizes for the event. Thank you Vicki for your donation and for being such an awesome neighbor!
New Chamber of Commerce members Meredith and Dave Hayes of the Happy Hayes Ranch also brought some sunshine to our event. They also took home door prizes from our event to add to the atmosphere at the ranch.
Meredith and her brother Jerome Ingels were two of the volunteers who gave up part of their Saturday to help the Community Association brighten our town during our roadside clean-up.
The next Community Association clean-up and lunch is scheduled for March 8th starting at 8am.

Adrienne and Russ Mathewson are residents of Ridgecrest for the time being. The Mathewsons are building a home in north Inyokern and we are pleased at the prospect of having such great neighbors.
