Inyokern Rotary August 2008 Highlights
The ever-helpful Barbara Butler of the Rotary Club of China Lake was honored with a special Rotarian of the year award at our August 12th meeting.

August also brought the showing of the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards film from the RYLA retreat. The presentation was shown by club treasurer Jim Weeks.

Brad Hodgins gave a presentation on his recent trip to Papua New Guinea with the Ridgecrest Church of the Nazarene where ninety-four people received dental treatment in six days. Inyokern is one of the Rotary clubs that is accepting and forwarding donations of dental supplies for this international effort.
