The webmaster was touring the beautiful streets of Inyokern when this yard stood out as exceptional. When the front door opened the webmaster met the gracious Noria Kurley and told her he was looking for the yard of the month. She informed him he had found it, and the matter was settled. The yard features solar walkway lights, automatic watering system, and low water use plantings.
The Yard of the Month is located at 1100 3rd Street in the Sunshine Capital of America.
The Kurley's had some help in the front yard which was professionally landscaped by Deluxe Landscaping.
The hot tub and grill are just outside the front door and the roses add to the rainbow of floral color.
The cactus and desert plant garden are across the walk from the rose garden and we were just in time to see some beautiful blossoms.
This large healthy palm in the front yard has withstood the desert winds for many years. Joe's jeep looks like it could go just about anywhere. It looks right at home in this beautiful desert yard.
Who is it that does not like yard art? These happy characters bring a smile to visitors and are ready for any weather.
Tigger looks like he is ready to bounce through this fantastic wonderland.
Noria and Joe have done a great job infusing essential yard qualities by making their yard both attractive and fun.
