Inyokern Horses - Grass Not Gas!
Yes it was an inspiring sight, that train of horses and mules heading toward Ridgecrest on Inyokern Road April 19th. A sign with the slogan "Grass Not Gas" and other signs lamenting the high price of gasoline were carried by both horse and wagon. There was
no time to get the names of the riders but you know who you are!
This was one of those chance opportunities to take photos of Inyokern at it's best, flying America's and California's flags and celebrating values and customs of the American west.
Thanks to all of you for reminding us that there are other ways to get around- with a much better view and more time to take it in.
