Inyokern neighbor of the month July 2009

The Neighbor of the Month can be anyone you know. This could be that special person who always has a smile or kind word or is willing to help when you need a hand. This honor will include a photo posted on this page and a caption or short biography. Email the webmaster with your nomination for neighbor of the month.

Pat Farris began attending Inyokern School when she was in the 7th grade. Her long association with Inyokern is well known and she remains very supportive of our town.

Pat is the publisher of the News Review. She has been recognized by many groups in Ridgecrest and was voted Woman of the Year in 2003. Pat receives the Neighbor of the Month award for helping organize the Inyokern Centennial Dinner and for promoting our Centennial Celebration. Pat was nominated for Inyokern Neighbor of the Month by the Inyokern Chamber of Commerce and the Inyokern Rotary Club.

Thank you Pat for your loyal support of our town and for reminding us that the history of Inyokern is the history of the Indian Wells Valley. As Neighbor of the Month Pat received a gift certificate to Torres Steakhouse in Inyokern.
