Inyokern neighbor of the month

Diana and Gary are regular and faithful Inyokern volunteers. Their indispensable assistance at the Town Hall has made a real difference to Inyokern. Diana and Gary have also been seen at Inyokern School helping PTO member Phyllis Dame with school functions.

Gary is a Vietnam veteran and retired from the Postal Service in Lone Pine. Gary most recently helped with our June highway clean-up, repair of the east Inyokern 'Sunshine Capital of America' sign, and replaced the plumbing to the coolers at the town hall.

Diana worked as a pre-school teacher in Lone Pine. She also worked on the Inyokern sign, the siding 16 monument and the historical records at the Town Hall. The couple lived in Lone Pine for thirty years before moving to Inyokern. They have two sons, Troy and Ronnie.

This month's winner received a gift certificate from Torres Steakhouse. Inyokern thanks our fine merchants for their contributions.
