It's the smiles!
Maturango Museum receives no government funding, it is funded through gift shop sales and donations.  Many volunteers bring constant change to the displays for the education and entertainment of thousand of visitors each year. 

The museum is located at 100 East Las Flores Avenue in Ridgecrest and is open every day from 10 to 5.  A wealth of information is available at the Maturango Museum website.
 
The Maturango Museum has plans to add to their existing facility and the end product will look like the rendering below.  We will have more details on the expansion later.  For additional details visit the Maturango Museum website.
