Welcome to My Inyokern Community Site. The purpose of this site is to promote the community, people and business concerns of the mountain and desert areas of Inyo and Kern counties from Inyokern, CA. The site also includes pages for businesses and non-profit groups in other communities.
Inyokern School librarian Mrs. Cooley sent the photograph to the left. Mrs. Cooley's nephew Army Second Lieutenant Ryan Cooley is shown holding our American flag. Second Lieutenant Cooley has since been deployed to Iraq and made a gift of this flag to Inyokern Elementary School. Thank you Second Lieutenant Cooley for remembering the children of Inyokern Elementary School. Thank you to all of our service men and women and their families for their sacrifices.
