Harry Krabbe, Thanks for your very useful site and for the link, your page is the place to look "In the Indian Wells Valley."
Pat Jones, thanks for the link on High Desert Memories and for your kind words.
Webmaster
A big Inyokern thank you to Ridgecrest Pizza Hut for their generous donation to our school reading program. To those who are not aware of this program Pizza Hut awards certificates for personal pan pizzas to our local children for reaching their reading goals. Thank you Pizza Hut!

Inyokern School librarian Mrs. Cooley sent the photograph to the left. Mrs. Cooley's nephew Army Second Lieutenant Ryan Cooley is shown holding our American flag. Second Lieutenant Cooley has since been deployed to Iraq and made a gift of this flag to Inyokern Elementary School. Thank you Second Lieutenant Cooley for remembering the children of Inyokern Elementary School. Thank you to all of our service men and women and their families for their sacrifices.
Inyokern thanks and salutes Arby Childs and Ridgecrest Sizzler for his generous donation to the winners of Student of the Month Award at Inyokern Elementary School.
The Hot Stuff award is a special treat for our school children and Inyokern appreciates people and businesses that support Inyokern and it's littlest citizens. Well done Arby! (That's not just steak lingo.)

People gathered for a fun afternoon of art and drumming at the Inyokern Town Hall. Kids can brought their art to display. Pottery and sketching workshops by Bob & Anna Lynn and Anna Levitsky along with native drumming with Little Deer Durvin and Middle-Eastern drumming and dance with Kim Bowen were presented, plus a craft table with beading and collage art.
More events and shows are being planned for the Indian Wells Valley. If you would like information on future events contact Adrienne Mathewson at 382-0645 or email desertrhythm@verizon.net.
